I will be attending the Battleground show at Stockton on the 30th November. I have activated a pre order coupon – 15% off when ordering over £40 ( it excludes unit packs etc)
The coupon is active until the 28th November – with free admission what’s there to lose in attending this great show.
After much deliberation I have decided that despite slow sales the Fife and Drum AWI range is worthy of continued support and to that end I have ordered the new Highlanders, Hessian Jagers and Personalities. In addition I have added drummers to Clermont Prince and Keiths Highlanders together with a standard bearer. Finally there’s another mounted and dismounted Officer/ADC
More new figures due next week
After much deliberation I’ve taken a leap of faith and moved the business from home to a small Office/Studio in the Hub at Redcar. Run by the Council these Offices are designed to help new businesses. From my point of view it means I can work uninterrupted and can hopefully be more productive.
It also means if any one wants to pop in and collect an order they can do so. But please e.mail first to arrange as I’m not there every day and I don’t like to disappoint.
The new address is at the bottom of the home page.
I am going to visit my son so will not have access to the shop or outlook until 15th September.
You can still contact me though at
should you have any queries.
In the meantime enjoy the new releases and I promise there is a really exciting Autumn forecast
I am pleased to say that more new figures are available all are aimed at supporting the forthcoming publication by Charles Grant on small scale actions in the Seven Years War and I hope to release ‘Battle Packs’ to accompany the book.
In the meantime British infantry charging, the Freytag Jaegers on foot and Keiths Highlanders are all available. Keith’s will also serve as the 42nd and are therefore suitable for the French Indian War and the Sugar Island campaigns. ( Grenadiers and more command will be coming)
Some early stock of the new figures dismounted French Dragoons, Compagnie Franches de la Marine, British Marines, Generic Officers, and British Pioneers are all available to order.
The French Dragoon horse holder has been cast I just need to make some horses for him to hold 🙂
Stock of the British Naval crew/Landing party have now been received and are in the shop.
I have divided the packs into figures in bare feet (suitable to man your ship models and or hit the beach) and those in shoes for fighting ashore. There are currently 16 figures available and a unit pack is available containing one each of the figures plus sprues for a slightly discounted price.
A few more conversions/variants will be on their way shortly.
I’m pleased to say that I am now stocking Stuart Insch’s excellent publication.
Wargaming the Sugar Islands Campaign is an 80 page A5 glossy bound guide to the British Invasion of Martinique and Guadeloupe. It contains a detailed summary of the events on both islands, the leaders, the forces involved and the islands themselves. There is information on suitable figures, scenery and rule sets to use and loads of period maps detailing the landing areas and land fought over. I have commissioned two pen and ink drawing from Chris Gregg which sit in the centre of the book. Lastly the book also contains 6 scenarios each with a detailed colour layout and with special rules including a simple campaign and special events.
There are limited stocks so don’t miss out.
I will be attending the above show at Falkirk on the 11th May.
As usual I am offering a 10% discount on all orders placed for collection at the show when you spend £40 or more. just enter the code falkirk2019 at check out.
Remember I will not be bringing the Fife and Drum AWI range or the Hanoverians so if you want these please either pre.order or get in touch before the show.
Officially the last orders for Salute should have been in by yesterday. I’m happy o take orders until Friday but you will have to e.mail them as the voucher will no longer work and I will do the necessary here.
For the moment the Prussian musketeer is only available to pre.order. I’ve decided the stock I have doesn’t meet my expectations, some of the detail is quite shallow and needs to be sharper, I think this is due to the process of resin print, mould, and then new moulds for metal so Dan is going to redo the equipment on the figure and all should be good and a Fusilier will be coming.
Finally from the 26th March until Salute I shall be in America so will not have access to the shop e.mails. If you need me for anything get me on firstname.lastname@example.org
