I’ve decided to offer an early discount on all orders over £30 whilst we are continuing to face more disruption to our lives. From now until the 5th December spend over £30 on figures ( does not include the already discounted unit deals) enter the coupon code Christmas20 and you should receive the discount ( any problems get in touch)
I have more figures on order from Griffin and shall do my best to update stock levels.
It’s been a while since I updated and apologies for that. The new Fife and Drum miniatures have eventually been added to the shop and decent stocks of the French Indian War militia and Civilians are held.
The new charging French have been selling well and I am waiting on new stocks of these figures although some stock is still available.
I apologise that posting of parcels is still a little slower than I would like but I am still trying to only go to the Post Office once a week and unfortunately there appears to be no end in sight of the ongoing restrictions..
I have finished the conversions of Rangers in leather caps and am working on some militia conversions to go for casting shortly.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch, thanks for your continued support and keep safe.
I received the new greens for the French Indian War from Richard this week and sent them straight off to Griffin. They will be up for pre.order in a couple of weeks as Griffin are so busy current turn around is running at 4-6 weeks.
I am due new stock next week which is a relief and that should include stock of the new Saxons and the Fife and Drum Morgans rifles.
More news will be going out in the Newsletter later today.
For those of you waiting on orders which include the Provincial Infantry and NCO’s Griffin have informed me that they hope to have stock with me by the 10th July.
I apologise for the delay but these have been disruptive times and thank you for your patience.
I also hope to have the pre.release phase 2 Saxons by that date also.
First and foremost can I once again thank you for your continued support during the recent and ongoing situation.
I thought it opportune to bring you up to date with where I am with orders etc.
I have had a recent stock update from Griffin which has allowed me to clear a big backlog of orders, however I am still waiting for Griffin to catch up on the mould making, this includes the production moulds for the Provincial infantry so please bear with me.
For those customers who have bought the skirmishing Rogers Rangers you may have noticed the deliberate mistake! There are actually seven different skirmishing figures not 6 so you have been getting 7 figures for the price of 6 – that error has now been rectified 🙂
Finally from the 1st July I will have to increase postal charges to USA only, I don’t understand all the reasons why but the end result is USPS have significantly increased their charges for ‘the last mile’ so costs from UK to USA are facing 40-50% increases!!!
My website Administrator has informed me that he needs to move my site to a new server this week. Probably Tuesday night through Wednesday this is due to take place. During that time you will not be able to access the site or shop – please don’t panic.
If all goes well then you will not notice anything different when we come back on line 🙂
I’m pleased to say that stock has started to arrive from Griffin so charging French Infantry are back in stock.
Just as important Rogers Rangers and Provincial Infantry are also in stock and available from the shop now. Units for Musket and Tomahawks will appear once I have checked up on the organisation.
By now I should be sitting in a bar in anticipation of Salute 2020. Anyway to make up for the disappointment I’m offering 15% discount on all orders over £60. ( It excludes unit and army packs) The offer runs from now until midnight on the 19th April so take advantage.
Just enter the code No Salute2020 at checkout.
Hi, trust everyone is keeping safe and being responsible?
First thanks to all those people who have placed orders it is very much appreciated and I’m pretty much up to date in dispatch. Couple of things
I will be going to the local post office once a week (usually a Wednesday) Likewise I will only be spending one day a week at the hub to process orders etc (Usually a Sunday) Wit Griffin being closed my last restock is in the ether until they return this means some items are now very low or out of stock – I will update stock levels today. Heavy horses in particular are almost gone!!
Can I ask if you want to order anything e.mail first unless you’re quite happy to wait for your order to be completed when Griffin return.
Many thanks for your support and cooperation
First good news – The Hurons and charging French are now in stock so today and tomorrow I will be clearing any outstanding orders for these and get them in the post.
The situation regarding shows is still unclear the team at Falkirk have stated we will get a definitive answer the first week of April. The Salute team have still said the show is on unless Excel say otherwise. My own feeling is it wont happen and if it does it will be a poor show, quite a few of my customers are from Europe and we know they wont be coming. However for both shows the offer still stands that any pre.orders will still be sent post free provided they’re over £60.00.
