Hi, trust everyone is keeping safe and being responsible?
First thanks to all those people who have placed orders it is very much appreciated and I’m pretty much up to date in dispatch. Couple of things
I will be going to the local post office once a week (usually a Wednesday) Likewise I will only be spending one day a week at the hub to process orders etc (Usually a Sunday) Wit Griffin being closed my last restock is in the ether until they return this means some items are now very low or out of stock – I will update stock levels today. Heavy horses in particular are almost gone!!
Can I ask if you want to order anything e.mail first unless you’re quite happy to wait for your order to be completed when Griffin return.
Many thanks for your support and cooperation
First good news – The Hurons and charging French are now in stock so today and tomorrow I will be clearing any outstanding orders for these and get them in the post.
The situation regarding shows is still unclear the team at Falkirk have stated we will get a definitive answer the first week of April. The Salute team have still said the show is on unless Excel say otherwise. My own feeling is it wont happen and if it does it will be a poor show, quite a few of my customers are from Europe and we know they wont be coming. However for both shows the offer still stands that any pre.orders will still be sent post free provided they’re over £60.00.
I am expecting the Mowhawk and Huron figures at the end of March. In order to launch the new range I am offering some pre.order deals on units as per the Musket and Tomahawk rules ( 6 figure units)
For those that wish to go all out there is a War Party offer 51 figures – 400 points as per the first edition ( I may tweak this if the points are substantially different in 2nd but you will not get any less figures.)
These Offers run from now until the end of March
More offers will appear over the next few days .
Some images are below, the Hurons are still work in progress
I have added to the shop Sheithers Freicorps, mounted and foot, together with the French dragoons in tricorn, again mounted and foot. Hopefully on Tuesday I shall add the Government Highland Grenadiers and some more generic officers on foot.
It’s that time of year where preparations for Salute have already commenced. This year I am offering a 15% discount on all preorders over the value of £60 for collection at the show. The offer excludes unit deals which are already discounted. Just enter the coupon/voucher code Salute2020 at check out. Any problems please email me.
I will not be bringing the Hessians or the AWI range with me so please ensure you order these for collection.
There’s a host of new releases to go up on the site and these will appear over the weekend as well as a new newsletter going out.
I will be attending the Battleground show at Stockton on the 30th November. I have activated a pre order coupon – 15% off when ordering over £40 ( it excludes unit packs etc)
The coupon is active until the 28th November – with free admission what’s there to lose in attending this great show.
After much deliberation I have decided that despite slow sales the Fife and Drum AWI range is worthy of continued support and to that end I have ordered the new Highlanders, Hessian Jagers and Personalities. In addition I have added drummers to Clermont Prince and Keiths Highlanders together with a standard bearer. Finally there’s another mounted and dismounted Officer/ADC
More new figures due next week
After much deliberation I’ve taken a leap of faith and moved the business from home to a small Office/Studio in the Hub at Redcar. Run by the Council these Offices are designed to help new businesses. From my point of view it means I can work uninterrupted and can hopefully be more productive.
It also means if any one wants to pop in and collect an order they can do so. But please e.mail first to arrange as I’m not there every day and I don’t like to disappoint.
The new address is at the bottom of the home page.
I am going to visit my son so will not have access to the shop or outlook until 15th September.
You can still contact me though at
should you have any queries.
In the meantime enjoy the new releases and I promise there is a really exciting Autumn forecast
I am pleased to say that more new figures are available all are aimed at supporting the forthcoming publication by Charles Grant on small scale actions in the Seven Years War and I hope to release ‘Battle Packs’ to accompany the book.
In the meantime British infantry charging, the Freytag Jaegers on foot and Keiths Highlanders are all available. Keith’s will also serve as the 42nd and are therefore suitable for the French Indian War and the Sugar Island campaigns. ( Grenadiers and more command will be coming)
